Dr. Akinwande Olusanya Adedapo, FRCS (Tr. & Orth.); FRCSC; MBBS
Dr. Olusanya Adedapo is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at CedarCrest Hospital Lagos and at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, UK. A graduate of the University of Lagos, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (Trauma & Orthopaedics) in 1998. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He practices both in the UK and in Nigeria.
He is an Orthopaedic surgeon with a wide range of experience in Orthopaedics particularly in the sub-specialities of Children’s Orthopaedics, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Hand Surgery, Trauma and Joint replacement surgery. He has nearly two decades of local and international general and subspecialty orthopaedic experience that has taken him to various countries including the United States of America, Canada and the United Kingdom.
He has a keen interest in Clinical Governance and he continues to work tirelessly with specialists in other fields of medicine at CedarCrest Hospital, to pursue the primary aim of ensuring that Nigerians no longer need to travel abroad to search for world class care.
Dr. Adedapo is a member of national and international professional bodies including being an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom, a member of the British society of Children’s Orthopaedics and the British Society for Foot and Ankle Surgery amongst others.
